≪ABOUT the Alpha Domus Winery≫
Alpha Domes is a winery based in Hawke's Bay on the North Island. It was founded in 1989 by the HAM family in this Hawke's Bay area. Alpha "ALPHA" is derived from the family name Anthonius, Leonarda, Paulus, Henrikus, Anthonius, and Domes "DOMUS" means "house" in Latin.
As the name suggests, it is a warm winery like a family.
There is an airport near the winery, which has long been an important training airfield for New Zealand Air Force pilots. The recent Alpha-Domes label design is inspired by the previously used military aircraft Tiger Moss.
The wines produced at this winery have won numerous awards at international wine competitions by the famous British wine magazine Decanter.

This sparkling wine is made from 100% moderately ripe Merlot grapes, and is luxuriously made using only naturally occurring juice and lightly squeezed juice.
Very refreshing yet deep, such sparkling wine is ideal not only for everyday use but also for celebrations such as birthdays and wedding anniversaries ♪
It's also a nice point that the rare crown cap can be easily opened ♪

Aromas of strawberries, raspberries, cherries and lychees. A dry sparkling wine with a refreshing acidity and moderate fruit that is easy to match with any dish. You can also enjoy it as a toast or as an apéritif.
